WELCOME… We are Dickey Seed International, Inc. (DSI). We have been providing specialty agricultural commodities since 1963.  Today, we find that wood, and wood products make timber one of the world's most important commodities. However, due to diminishing forestlands, increasing wood demands and various conservation requirements, we find ourselves in need of better and more reliable methods for producing future wood supplies.

THEREFORE… DSI has now taken forestry to the farm. Our timber products are produced, strictly, as a farm commodity… the same as traditional crops, such as: corn, cotton, soybeans and wheat. The proven efficiency of modern-day agriculture leaves no doubt… the system that “Feeds the World”, can be just as efficient in helping provide the world’s wood supply.

OUR MISSION… is to provide the commercial, wood-use industry with a custom-grown, reliable and predictable source of farm-grown timber and timber products of which will be produced by the most economical and environmentally sound principles known. DSI either owns and/or controls all its farmland production. The Company, and its immediate associates, provides and controls most of its own genetic research, plant propagation and end-product contracting and marketing activities.  THE COMPANY DOES NOT market tree plantlets, land or services outside of it's own various contract programs. Neither, does DSI offer any "investment schemes". We just stick to what we’ve been doing for the last 47 years… providing specialty ag commodities for where they are needed.
